Reima’s journey since 1944
Reima’s story begins in 1944 in the small town of Kankaanpää, Finland. We started our business by repurposing old army uniforms to create safe, functional and comfortable clothing for the entire family. And we’ve never stopped researching and developing our ideas since.
Today we are creating award-winning kidswear, products and services that will keep our children and our planet safe. From our material innovations to our recycling initiatives, we put responsibility into every step of our process.
All our products are developed in Finland and manufactured by our skillful suppliers in Asia. Every part of our process is responsible.
And because we’re always exploring, discovering and asking, where next? Reima is now sold in 70 countries across the world, from our bespoke stores to carefully selected retailer partners and the much loved Finnish Baby Box. We also have online shops in Europe, Canada and the US.
Because we’re growing too, our head office is now situated in the bigger Finnish town of Vantaa. To help us think of every little detail along the way, we employ almost 500 people around the world. And together, we strive to make Finland proud.
