Not waterproof

I really enjoy these sneakers—they're lightweight, simple to slip on and off, and fit true to size. Just a heads-up, they're not waterproof, so after walking on wet grass, socks did get wet, but overall, I find them quite comfortable!

One proud toddler!

My 15 month old LOVES these shoes! She literally ran down the hall clapping and cheering pointing to her shoes. At first I was a bit guffawed at what I spent on shoes she'll realistically wear for such a. Short time, seeing how happy and comfortable she is in them makes it totally worth it. Such good quality and comfort. And living in a rainforest like climate on Vancouver Island, it's important to me to have waterproof shoes. My daughter has just learned to walk so I wanted a shoe, not a gumboot. These are perfect. We get lots of compliments and the grip is so good. Mostly just seeing how she lights up when they go on makes me think I'll buy another pair once she grows out of these.

Fits true to size — love it! The only issue is the hook and loop; I wish it were longer, since it’s just enough to fasten and sometimes comes undone.

Perfect for exploring Alaska's wilderness

We live in the tropics, always wearing sandals, and were stressed about closed-toe shoes for an Alaska trip with a 3 and 7-year-old. These were perfect for the whole trip, in all terrains, dry and wet! Thanks.

Would never buy again.

It LOOKS like an elastic strap that closes the shoe- unfortunately it is not, and there is very little extra material to meet the Velcro closure. If your child doesn’t have a very narrow foot- the material will not be long enough to meet the Velcro and close. We purchased these for summer they will never be worn.

The shoes are very stiff, no bending at all which very uncomfortable for a toddler. My son keeps on falling in these.

I was really excited to find a pair of waterproof shoes for our five-year-old son. However, they do not keep his feet dry, unfortunately. I was surprised that more reviews didn’t mention that.
